The Sidi Denver series is a utilitarian workhorse of an everyday boot, with some of thebest protection in its class.
The Denver boot is offered in two versionsthis rich brown colorway without a waterproof membrane, and a , which has a wind- and water-resistant membrane.
Both boots offer the same rock solid constructionwith reinforced toe and heel cup, a durable shifter patch, and substantial feeling ankle armor both inside and out. They also get a flexible panel above the heel cup for extra comfort while walking, right out of the box.
The inside of this brown boot is padded for comfort and lined with a three dimensional mesh to help circulate air. Although the brown model doesnt have the waterproof membrane, its still cut from plentiful thick top-grain leather with a gusset in the boots tongue that will offer some basic water proofing.
Subtle Sidi logos are about the only thing that could tip this off as a motorcycle boot, and those are all but unnoticeable when worn under a pair of riding jeans.
The Denver gives the user the option of a lace-up closure, or inner side zip - secured further with a Velcro tab.
Note: If using the zipper as a primary means of ingress and egress, make sure to bring the zipper all the way down before trying to wiggle out. Doing this takes stress off the zipper mid-zip; otherwise the closure is liable to break teeth and derail the zipper head.
